Join EnEarthia as a Research Scientist and contribute to the advancement of next-generation clean energy and thermal storage technologies. In this role, you will support research and development initiatives focused on energy efficiency, subsurface thermal energy storage, heat recovery systems, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. Candidates should be pursuing or hold a PhD in Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geothermal Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. You will work alongside a fully remote multidisciplinary team developing innovative technologies for low-carbon energy applications.

What You’ll Do

As a Research Scientist, you will contribute to the development of advanced thermal energy storage and sustainable cooling technologies. Your work will focus on energy efficiency, heat recovery, subsurface thermal systems, and innovative approaches to low-carbon infrastructure. Candidates should be pursuing or hold a PhD in Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Geothermal Engineering, or a related technical field.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary technical team to evaluate, model, and improve advanced thermal energy and cooling systems. Your research and analytical contributions will support scalable clean-energy solutions designed to reduce energy consumption, lower emissions, and advance sustainable technology deployment across industrial and data-driven applications.
Who You Are
You are passionate about sustainability and advanced energy technologies, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be currently pursuing or hold a PhD in Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Geothermal Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience in thermal systems, energy modeling, or clean energy research is highly valued.
